Columbus Dispatch covers Robert Alt’s Elbrus Adventure
An excerpt from a July 26, 2017, article in The Columbus Dispatch states:
While attempting an ascent of Mount Elbrus in southern Russia, the president of the Columbus-based Buckeye Institute was stricken with high-altitude pulmonary edema, a potentially fatal illness. It took an international effort to secure his health and journey home.
“The unofficial motto of the Buckeye Institute is ‘Do Hard Things,’” Alt said. “And one of the things I frequently tell staff is they should have worthy goals, goals that are difficult to achieve.”
